Next week marks the beginning of one of the busiest weeks in Monterey, Monterey Car Week. The entire city of Monterey and the surrounding areas are flooded with car enthusiasts and collectors from around the world. Hundreds of classic cars and motorcycles will be on display at different areas in the city. With over a dozen different events taking place throughout the week, there’s activities for all types of visitors.

The event kicks off on Tuesday August 16 with Carmel-By-The-Sea Concours on the Avenue– a showcase of 175 domestic and foreign collector vehicles spread out across 16 blocks of downtown Carmel-by-the-sea. The true pinnacle of the week-long car bonanza is the Pebble Beach Concours D’Elegance event on Sunday August 21st. This event features 200 of the most prized collector cars in the world displayed on the famous 18th hole fairway of Pebble Beach Golf Links. According to the official Pebble Beach Concours D’ Elegance website, this year’s event will feature the following marques and special classes:
